Although Marvin Robbins has gone home to be with our Lord, his legacy lives on, just as he planned for!
We all knew that Marvin was an exceptional turkey hunter who loved not only the hunt but teaching others how to be a successful turkey hunter may have even been more important to him. Along with that came sharing the Gospel and the message of salvation and Marvin may have been better at that than he was the turkey calling part! He had his soft spoken way of getting the message across and led many people to Jesus Christ while sitting with a box call in his hand!

Rich Williams, Scott Snary and Howard Frampton were all mentored by Marvin, both, in the field and in the Word!

They will be sharing the legacy left behind by Marvin on Tuesday, April 20th by conducting the DCA annual spring "turkey hunting seminar"

Rich, Scott and Howard had worked with Marvin for several years, they are all board members of the "Valley Longbeards" chapter of NWTF and became successful turkey hunters by applying what they were taught, now, as Marvin would have wanted they are ready to share that teaching with others.

There will "Timberline Calls" on sale, free snacks and beverages, door prizes and raffle items.

Admission is a non-perishable item or items for the Calvary Community Church "Manna Ministry".

Marvin was one of those men who would rather give than receive. Over the last several years Marvin conducted many turkey hunting seminars for DCA,he donated a lot of Timberline Calls product and is alone responsible for bringing many people, including myself, to love chasing turkey. Marvin left us to go home to be with our Lord while hunting deer in the fall of 2009. I am sure he is still teaching because that is what he loved doing.
